And to think that I was'nt going to get a holiday gift this year

Kudos to GPTV! Read This:

Dear Georgia Educators,

By now you doubtless have heard about the changes in the Discovery Educator Network. We at Georgia Public Broadcasting were shocked and dismayed at Discovery’s move. Discovery did not inform us in advance or ask our input before making these changes. We want to assure you Georgia Public Broadcasting is dedicated to supporting all educators and the statewide network that has grown over the last year and a half. We value all that you give to the students of Georgia and we want to continue to offer professional growth and networking opportunities to you.

Therefore, we have decided to continue to support a statewide network by creating the new Georgia Public Broadcasting’s Technology in Education (TIE) Network. Furthermore, we are very pleased to announce that in January, 2007, Katherine Aiken will rejoin Georgia Public Broadcasting to manage the new TIE Network.

Please accept our invitation to join the new GPB TIE Network. Look for information about this exciting initiative in January, 2007. Katherine will be working very closely with Joy Jensen - Sales and Training Coordinator for GPB Education - in order to meet the needs of Georgia’s educators.

We hope that you are as excited about this announcement as we are. After the New Year Katherine and Joy will be contacting you for your feedback and suggestions on how to move forward with GPB’s TIE Network. Please let them know how they can assist you in your technology integration efforts.

Happy holidays,

Patrice
